
In the current trend of depleting resources and limitless use of everything we have to adapt the concept which serve and satisfies our need for conservation and protection. Here, comes concepts like circular and regenerative economy which not only gives us direction but also helps us to bloom a sustained economy. This chapter investigates into the women’s leadership and their participation towards a circular and regenerative economy. Guided by the research question, “How women are serving in current scenarios for a circular and regenerative economy and what innovative approaches they adopt or practicing to stay as a highly emerging personality in society?”, we aim to focus on some local examples of women who contribute towards a circular and regenerative economy. First, the chapter briefly describes about the concepts of circular and regenerative economy, emphasized on women as a driving force to leverage our circular economy through sustainable and innovative practices. In second part, it glorifies some women’s work who are highlighted for their awesome contribution towards circular economy. In third part we navigate through the government initiatives which support women in their progressive journey for making waste to wealth.
