Synthesis and Biological Significance of Pyrimidine Derivatives as New Anti-bacterial Agents

Abstract

A heterocyclic moiety has great biological and medicinal significance. The variouspharmacological activities discussed here proves biological importance of pyrimidinemoietyAmong the diverse biological activities of pyrimidine derivatives are antiviral, anticancer, antifungal, antimalarial, sedative, hypnotic, anticonvulsant, anthelmintic, andantithyroid properties. The present research aims to focus on account of important chemicalmoiety, various derivatives of pyrimidine and its as antimicrobial agents. In the current studieswe synthesize pyrimidines derivatives derivatives and in vitro antimicrobial activities whichcan facilitate the development of more potent and effective antimicrobial agents.
