Factores Psicosociales como factores de riesgo en la deserción escolar.

Abstract

El proceso de estudio universitario requiere un esfuerzo constante, enfrentando desafíos tanto académicos como personales. La deserción escolar, influenciada por múltiples factores, es una problemática significativa en México, donde el 6.8% de los estudiantes universitarios abandonan sus estudios. El primer año es especialmente crítico debido a la compleja adaptación al nuevo entorno, con altos niveles de estrés y ansiedad. Factores como el nivel socioeconómico, el entorno familiar y los hábitos de estudio influyen en el rendimiento académico. La baja autoestima y la falta de motivación también incrementan el riesgo de fracaso. Para reducir la deserción, es crucial implementar estrategias de apoyo, como tutorías personalizadas, intervenciones psicológicas y programas de seguimiento académico. El optimismo, la motivación y el apoyo institucional son esenciales para mejorar la adaptación y el éxito académico, contribuyendo a la retención estudiantil y el logro educativo.
