Desafiar el discurso dominante en un adolescente con TEA: del déficit a la agencia personal

Abstract

Introducción: el trastorno del espectro autista, durante la adolescencia, plantea entre otras cosas desarrollar habilidades adecuadas para esta nueva etapa de la vida y desde las fortalezas, la preparación para el futuro y habilidades para la vida. Objetivo: conocer que desde las prácticas narrativas, colaborativa y dialógica la experiencia de una madre ante la crianza de un hijo adolescente con TEA. Método: estudio de caso único historia de vida. Resultados: importancia del establecimiento de sistemas de apoyo y participación comunitaria, retos de la educación inclusiva en la atención al TEA, estrategias adaptativas y flexibilidad, educación parental y aprendizaje continuo, necesidades en el aula de los alumnos con TEA, preparación para la adolescencia y desafíos futuros e independencia y capacitación en habilidades para la vida. Conclusiones: el abordaje desde las prácticas narrativas y colaborativas y dialógicas permite un acercamiento que desafía el discurso dominante del déficit.
