Representaciones sociales sobre ser entrenador

Abstract

Las representaciones sociales en el escenario de la formación del entrenador permiten reconocer el carácter subjetivo, social e histórico de esta realidad, situando al estudiante como un sujeto activo. El objetivo de la investigación fue identificar y comprender las representaciones sociales sobre la formación profesional del entrenador. Se utilizó un diseño multi-método anidado, incorporando procedimientos de investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa. Los instrumentos de recolección de información empleados fueron la encuesta y las redes semánticas naturales. Los resultados establecieron que la formación del entrenador no solo se constituye a partir de elementos educativos y disciplinares, sino que también, se asocia con asuntos éticos, sociales y de correspondencia con otras personas, cuestiones agrupadas desde componentes valóricos. El estudio permite concluir que el elemento valórico, que en comparación de lo disciplinar y educativo no se manifiesta en los currículos o no de manera explícita, se configura en una contribución conceptual importante. Finalmente, esta investigación invita a las universidades a incorporar en sus programas académicos componentes de índole relacional, en el que los valores son una base esencial.
