Un modelo elastoplástico para suelos no saturados

Abstract

El objetivo fundamental de esta tesis ha sido la elaboración de un modelo elastoplástico para suelos no saturados. Con este fin se ha recopilado resultados experimentales descritos en diversas referencias y se han realizado ensayos de laboratorio utilizando un equipo triaxial hidráulico automatizado específicamente desarrollado para este caso. Los ensayos se han llevado a cabo con un caolín de baja plasticidad y con una mezcla de este caolín y una arcilla expansiva. Las trayectorias tensionales seguidas han incluido diferentes subtramos en los que se han variado según el caso la tensión esférica la succión y la tensión de corte. Entre los aspectos estudiados en estos ensayos se pueden resaltar la dependencia del estado del suelo con la trayectoria tensional seguida los colapsos e hinchamientos del suelo al variar la succión los estados de sobre consolidación producidos ante incrementos de la tensión esférica y de la succión las leyes mas adecuadas para modelar la variación del volumen especifico y los estados de rotura. <br/>A partir del conjunto de resultados experimentales obtenidos se ha elaborado un modelo elastoplástico que reproduce los comportamientos característicos de suelos no saturados. Este modelo consta de tres superficies de fluencia con sus respectivas leyes de fluencia y de rigidización. Aplicando este modelo se han comparado sus predicciones con algunos de los resultados experimentales obtenidos en esta tesis y con otros procedentes de varias referencias habiéndose comprobado una correcta correlación.
