Abstract

Dies ist die deutsche Fassung eines Textbeitrags, der in englischer Sprache im Herbst 2025 im Buch "What is a Book - Artists’ books by Beldan Sezen" erscheinen wird, von der Künstlerin mit Unterstützung des Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds herausgegeben. Der Beitrag ist essayistisch geprägt und teilt Überlegungen und Eindrücke aus dezidiert subjektiver Sicht. „Was sind Künstlerbücher für mich“ ist eine andere Frage als „Was sind Künstlerbücher“? Die Definition des Begriffs Künstlerbuch ist schwierig....
