TERRAIN/FIELDWORK Archaeological research at Konso: The origins of the Acheulean By Anne Delagnes & Yonas Beyene [ENG] In french bellow The KONSO project aims to initiate a new cycle of archaeological research in the Konso Formation, building on the very solid foundations laid by previous work. It targets the phases preceding the earliest Acheulean manifestations, dated at around 1.76-1.75 million years - Ma (Konso-KGA6 in Ethiopia and Kokiselei 4 in Kenya) in Africa and more widely worldwide....
