Authors: Schweighofer, Victoria;

Employer Branding

Abstract

The Generation Z comprises those people born between 1995 and 2010 who are currently establishing themselves on the labour market. Due to the ongoing demographic change and the War for Talents, this group is becoming increasingly important for companies looking for talented young employees. The aim of this work was to find out which factors are particularly relevant for Generation Z students when choosing their future employer and through which channels this target group can best be reached. From the research results of the quantitative online survey, it could be deduced that social factors, such as working atmosphere and corporate culture, are of great importance for the young generation, while economic factors move into the background. In addition, digital channels such as company websites or career platforms play a decisive role in the search for information. The work illustrates the importance of the continuous maintenance of the employer brand by companies, considering the expectations and needs of Generation Z, to be successful in the competition for the best talents in the long term.
