Obligaciones y cargas de las partes en la compraventa internacional de mercaderías

Abstract

El presente artículo aborda el estudio de las obligaciones del vendedor y el comprador en la Convención de Naciones Unidas sobre Compraventa Internacional de Mercaderías de 1980. Igualmente, se estudian las cargas derivadas del ejercicio de dichas obligaciones de forma que de su ejercicio depende la posibilidad de ejercer los derechos que la Convención consagra, de forma que las partes puedan ver realizada la finalidad que los lleva a celebrar el contrato. En el texto se utilizan como fuentes las normas de la Convención, al igual que la doctrina y la jurisprudencia, con el fin de exponer el alcance tanto de las obligaciones como de las cargas de las partes del contrato.
