Abstract

Agradezco a Ediciones Olejnik esta oportunidad de reunir en forma de libro una selección de mis escritos de los últimos diez años. Debo decir que, aunque la selección no es mía, sino propuesta por la propia casa editora, refleja de forma bastante adecuada mis intereses como profesor y estudioso del derecho romano. A la vez, sin embargo, como sucede siempre con una antología, también ésta resulta inevitablemente parcial; por eso quiero mencionar además mi dedicación ya longeva al estudio de la tradición romanística en la América hispana de época colonial. Pero como esta línea de estudios no toca a la presente ocasión, bueno será que, para información del posible lector, intente dar ahora una ligerísima idea acerca del significado de cada uno de los trabajos aquí recogidos.Metodología y pedagogía, jurisprudencia romana y vicisitudes políticas, algo de derechos reales y de obligaciones, un poquito de tradición romanística en sentido amplio y preocupación por el futuro del cultivo del derecho romano: tales son, en síntesis, aproximada, los temas de los trabajos incluidos en este volumen.(De la Presentación del autor)
