Berufsethik der deutschen Rechtsanwaltschaft

Authors: Klaus, Sarah;

Berufsethik der deutschen Rechtsanwaltschaft

Abstract

The professional ethics of lawyers is a complex topic that gives rise to a detailed review. The monograph comprehensively deals with the topic and analyzes the discussion of the past years and the existing require-ments due to the BRAO. The core question is whether a code of ethics for lawyers can and should be formu-lated. In addition, other approaches are considered and weighed against each other. In the end, a combinati-on of possible courses of action is presented, which aims at creating an awareness for the individuality of each lawyer as well as for the need to deal more intensively with the professional ethics of lawyers.
