Abstract

Los llamados rumiantes menores incluyen a las ovejas, cabras, cérvidos y camélidos americanos. En términos de agricultura animal, se destacan las ovejas y las cabras, aunque a veces también se refiere a la llama, la alpaca y el venado de granja. La relevancia de compartir conocimientos veterinarios relacionados con los sistemas de reproducción de este tipo de ganado y cómo, mediante a técnicas actualizadas, obtener los máximos rendimientos, es uno de los valores del presente libro que se entrega para el uso de profesionales de la disciplina, para la consulta de estudiantes y docentes, así como para posibles emprendedores que se propongan desarrollar esta producción y el público en general.
