Nauczanie religii w szkołach w świetle statutów synodów diecezjalnych z okresu międzywojennego (1918–1939)

Abstract

W artykule omówiono postanowienia synodów diecezjalnych z okresu II Rzeczypospolitej dotyczące nauczania religii w szkołach. Analiza została podzielona na pięć części. W pierwszej omówione zostały postanowienia synodów wskazujące na cele, jakie przed nauczaniem religii stawiał Kościół katolicki w Polsce. W drugiej omówiono procedury mianowania prefektów szkolnych i innych nauczycieli religii oraz ich kwalifikacje. W trzecim przeanalizowane zostały postanowienia dotyczące obowiązków prefektów w zakresie nauczania, podnoszenia własnych kwalifikacji zawodowych i organizowania religijnych praktyk uczniów. W czwartym omówiono rodzaje i przebieg praktyk religijnych młodzieży szkolnej, w ostatnim zaś system wizytacji szkolnych stanowiących najważniejszy instrument kościelnej kontroli nauczania religii w szkołach.
