DESEMPENHO ESCOLAR EM UMA ESCOLA NO CAMPO - CONTINGENTES DO FRACASSO ESCOLAR

Abstract

Este artigo tem como temática a análise do desempenho escolar sob a perspectiva do fracasso nos anos finais do ensino fundamental. O objetivo central é examinar e discutir o desempenho de alunos de uma escola pública localizada no município de Salto do Jacuí/RS, ao longo de um período de sete anos. A pesquisa adota uma abordagem qualitativa, fundamentada no pensamento sistêmico, utilizando a cartografia como recurso metodológico. Os dados foram produzidos a partir da análise de atas de encerramento do ano letivo e dos diários de classe, com o propósito de identificar e acompanhar as reincidências do processo de fracasso escolar. Os resultados indicam como fatores relacionados a esse fenômeno elementos vinculados à subsistência, segurança emocional, manifestações comportamentais, relação com a vida cotidiana e o mundo do trabalho, limites da linguagem e vínculo com o conhecimento.
