Abstract

Jean-Paul Sartre constrói sua teoria com temas muito caros: o existencialismo e a liberdade. Para ele, o os objetos do mundo são considerados como Em-si, já que estão carregados de matéria. Os seres humanos são o Para-si, uma vez que se constituem de um vazio, são um nada em busca da contemplação e, para isso, se relacionam com objetos do mundo da maneira que quiserem, pois, segundo ele, o homem está condenado a ser livre. De tal maneira, coloca que no jogo a liberdade encontro um lugar confortável para emergir. A partir disso, o artigo vislumbra pensar as conceituações acerca do jogo na literatura com as teorias sartreanas. Assim, o interesse é aproximar a ideia de jogo ao Para-si sartreano, compreendendo que, ao mesmo tempo que o Para-si busca os objetos do mundo, o jogo depende das ações dos/as jogadores/as para se constituir. Jogadores/as esses que, no que concerne a liberdade sartreana, podem se aproximar da má-fé (fuga da liberdade) ou da autenticidade (máxima expressão de seus anseios), porém, pensando as necessidades do jogo a manifestação mais coerente mostra-se a revolta que definiu Albert Camus, por entender que ação deve ser pautada no sujeito, mas dentro de limites éticos.
