Distribución espacial de las zonas potenciales de Recarga Hídrica en Bolivia

Abstract

En Bolivia, el agua es esencial y un punto clave para el desarrollo; la Constitución Política del Estado la considera un derecho básico. Las leyes N°1333 y N°300 refuerzan su protección y la conservación de zonas de recarga y cabeceras de cuenca. Aunque los municipios han normado su resguardo bajo autonomía (Ley N°031), aún no existe una zonificación nacional, lo que limita la planificación y gestión de acuíferos. Bajo este marco, el estudio delimitó las Zonas Potenciales de Recarga Hídrica (ZPRH) a escala nacional mediante SIG y teledetección, apoyados en un análisis multicriterio, a través del método de Proceso Analítico Jerárquico. Se evaluaron nueve variables en formato rejilla, revisando que no estuvieran altamente correlacionadas. Los factores que más influyeron fueron la hidrogeología, la precipitación y la capacidad del suelo para retener agua. Se generaron dos modelos de distribución espacial de las ZPRH, con y sin precipitación, que al compararlos se evidenció una redistribución lógica de clases, donde la inclusión climática reduce áreas de muy alto y alto potencial e incrementa clases media, baja y muy baja en zonas con déficit de lluvia, introduciendo sensibilidad espacial y temporal consistente con la hidrología. El análisis a nivel estacional de la precipitación (DEF, MAM, JJA, SON) reveló dinámicas de expansión y contracción de clases muy alta y alta más notorias en verano, especialmente en Amazonas y Llanuras del Beni, mientras que el Altiplano y parte del Chaco mostraron menos recarga debido a la poca lluvia, en contraste en la Chiquitania esta limitación se debe a la geología de baja permeabilidad.
