¿Calidad de vida o vida de calidad?

Abstract

Nos encontramos en el mundo actual con una multiplicidad de factores que promueven específicamente cambios en la consideración del orden ético, social, legal y económico de la vida humana. Por una parte se aduce que la vida de calidad sólo lo es si permite el bienestar de la persona, considerado éste como la posibilidad de obtener el mayor placer y el menor sufrimiento; uno de los factores decisivos es la productividad, quien es productivo económicamente es socialmente aceptado; el discapacitado no sólo no es productivo en el concepto económico, sino que se aleja del concepto de "perfección" que harían a la sociedad mejor. El concepto de calidad de vida es una percepción subjetiva en gran parte, la percepción de bienestar es diferente en cada persona. Ante la situación real de las familias que se enfrentan a situaciones críticas en la atención de una persona minusválida o con múltiples discapacidades, la solidaridad social a la familia haría que ésta no se agotara por el problema económico y de tiempo que supone un enfermo con grave discapacidad, la solidaridad es una solución humana.
