Direct shoot organogenesis could be induced from the shoots, nodes and cotyledon tissues of the in vitro Eurycoma longifolia seedlings. Multiple shoots could be formed from shoot and node explants that were cultured in MS medium + 1.50 mg/L BAP + 0.25 mg/L NAA. While cotyledon tissues could produce multiple shoots when cultured in MS medium + 0.75 mg/L BAP + 0.05 mg/L NAA. Cotyledon tissues produced more shoots per explant when cultured in 500 ml conical flask compared to 150 ml flask and 350 ml magenta box. Keywords: Eurycoma longifolia, organogenesis, shoot, node, cotyledon, in vitro, l-naphtalene acetic acid (NAA), 6-benzyl aminopurine (BAP).
