Estudo das implicações do espaço ofensivo nas características do ataque no Voleibol masculino de elite

Abstract

RESUMO O objectivo do presente estudo consiste na aplicacao de um modelo zonal de ataque de primeira linha bem como da sua associacao com variaveis especificadoras do ataque: o tempo de ataque, o efeito do ataque, o tipo de ataque e a oposicao situacional do bloco. Foram analisados 12 jogos de seleccoes nacionais, com recurso a digitalizacao de imagens, num total de 518 accoes. Recorreu-se ao teste de qui-quadrado, complementado por uma analise de correspondencias simples (ANACOR), para se analisar a relacao entre as variaveis. A fiabilidade pela percentagem de acordos, complementada pelo Kappa de Cohen, mostrou que os dados sao fiaveis enquanto ferramenta cientifica. A aplicacao de um modelo zonal, que especifica funcionalmente as zonas de ataque de primeira linha, evidenciou a tendencia das equipas em alargar o espaco de intervencao do ataque, pelo uso preferencial das zonas mais lateralizadas (4a e 2) e pela exploracao de zonas intermedias (4b, 3b, 3c), no sentido de destabilizar a actuacao do bloco atraves da criacao de superioridade espacial no ataque. O presente estudo reforcou a tendencia da utilizacao privilegiada do tempo 2 de ataque no jogo de alto nivel, confirmando o incremento da velocidade nas manobras ofensivas das equipas, bem como o ascendente da eficacia do ataque ao evidenciar o ponto como o efeito mais frequente. O numero de blocadores intervenientes na oposicao ao ataque adversario mostrou estar associado a velocidade do ataque, sendo que, tendencialmente, quanto mais rapido e o ataque menos blocadores efectivam o bloco.
