PRÁTICAS PEDAGÓGICAS INOVADORAS NO PROGRAMA SAÚDE NA ESCOLA: METODOLOGIAS ATIVAS NA EDUCAÇÃO EM ZOONOSES

Abstract

A integração entre educação e saúde no ambiente escolar constitui estratégia essencial para a promoção da saúde pública, especialmente no que se refere à prevenção das zoonoses. Este artigo apresenta uma revisão de literatura sobre estratégias de ensino-aprendizagem desenvolvidas no âmbito do Programa Saúde na Escola (PSE), com ênfase na aplicação de metodologias ativas na abordagem da raiva. São discutidos aspectos conceituais, etiológicos, epidemiológicos, clínicos, ciclos de transmissão, prevenção e controle dessa zoonose sob a perspectiva da Saúde Única. A metodologia baseou-se em levantamento bibliográfico em bases indexadas, contemplando publicações dos últimos dez anos. Conclui-se que as metodologias ativas fortalecem o protagonismo discente, favorecem a aprendizagem significativa e ampliam o alcance das ações educativas voltadas à prevenção e controle das zoonoses no contexto escolar e comunitário.
