Evaluasi Kinerja Jaringan FTTH Berbasis ODC dan GPON Berdasarkan Power Link Budget di RT 015 Tanjung Duren Utara

Abstract

Permintaan akan akses internet berkecepatan tinggi di kawasan perkotaan mendorong implementasi teknologi Fiber to the Home (FTTH) sebagai solusi utama penyediaan layanan jaringan yang andal. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi kinerja jaringan FTTH di RT 015 Jl. Sekretaris Tanjung Duren Utara, dengan memanfaatkan sistem Optical Distribution Cabinet (ODC) dan teknologi Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON). Metode Power Link Budget digunakan untuk menganalisis total redaman sinyal dan efisiensi transmisi data dalam jaringan tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan pengguna dan teknisi, serta pengukuran teknis menggunakan Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total redaman sinyal aktual sebesar 28,82 dB, sedikit lebih rendah dari perhitungan teoritis sebesar 29,69 dB, dan masih berada dalam batas toleransi yang ditetapkan oleh standar ITU-T G.984. Nilai daya optik yang diterima oleh perangkat pelanggan juga memenuhi standar spesifikasi, menandakan sistem jaringan telah terpasang dan berfungsi optimal. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa kombinasi sistem ODC dan teknologi GPON mampu mendukung distribusi sinyal yang efisien dan stabil. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya optimalisasi Power Link Budget untuk menjaga kualitas layanan, serta memberikan referensi bagi pengembangan jaringan FTTH di masa mendatang.
