Integrasi Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dan Six Big Losses sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Kinerja Mesin Rolling

Abstract

Mesin rolling otomatis merupakan peralatan utama dalam proses pembentukan rantang tunggal di UD Putra Delta. Berdasarkan pengamatan awal, kinerja mesin ini belum optimal dan ditandai dengan tingginya downtime serta penurunan kecepatan operasi yang berdampak pada pencapaian target produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi tingkat efektivitas mesin menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) serta mengidentifikasi faktor kerugian dominan melalui analisis Six Big Losses. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung terhadap aktivitas operasional mesin selama periode 6 Oktober 2025 hingga 3 November 2025, meliputi waktu kerja mesin, downtime, waktu operasi, jumlah output, dan produk cacat. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan nilai Availability sebesar 95%, Performance sebesar 81%, dan Quality sebesar 96%, sehingga diperoleh nilai OEE rata-rata sebesar 74%, yang masih berada di bawah standar world class sebesar 85%. Analisis Six Big Losses menunjukkan bahwa kerugian terbesar berasal dari Reduced Speed Losses sebesar 15% atau setara dengan kehilangan waktu 54 menit per hari dari total loading time 360 menit. Hasil analisis fishbone diagram menunjukkan bahwa penyebab utama penurunan kecepatan berasal dari keausan komponen mesin dan belum adanya standar kecepatan operasi yang baku, sehingga rekomendasi utama yang diusulkan adalah penerapan pemeliharaan preventif terjadwal dan penyusunan SOP kecepatan mesin yang terstandarisasi melalui pendekatan 5W+1H. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi dasar penyusunan strategi peningkatan efektivitas mesin dan kinerja produksi secara berkelanjutan.
