Abstract

El proyecto de la Universidad de Florencia se centra en la documentación y virtualización del Buque Amerigo Vespucci, utilizado como buque escuela por la Marina Italiana.Utilizando técnicas como el escaner láser terrestre y “Structure from Motion”, el equipo adquiere datos precisos del interior y exterior del buque, considerando desafíos logísticos y acceso limitado. Los modelos tridimensionales obtenidos se utilizan para videos guiados y recorridos virtuales, permitiendo visitas digitales remotas. El proyecto tiene como objetivo valorizar el patrimonio italiano, con atención especial al Buque Vespucci, y continúa hasta 2025.
