Diseño de aprendizaje a través de realidad aumentada para visualizar logotipos

Abstract

Este artículo presentó los resultados de un proyecto de investigación cuyo objetivo fue diseñar una experiencia interactiva de aprendizaje a través del uso de la realidad aumentada (RA) y los dispositivos móviles para encontrar las ventajas y las desventajas de su incorporación como medio de enseñanza dentro del aula. Los participantes fueron 32 estudiantes de cuarto semestre de la Licenciatura en Diseño Gráfico de la Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, México, Campus Mexicali. La aplicación se creó por medio de Halo AR. Esta permitió a los usuarios descubrir rasgos característicos de logotipos corporativos no percibidos a simple vista a través de marcadores físicos. Este estudio se apoyó en la teoría del aprendizaje conectivista, pues se considera que el estudiante es capaz de formar parte de un proceso dinámico a través del cual se convierte en protagonista del proceso de construcción del conocimiento mediante la conexión de patrones de información. En este sentido, la investigación tuvo un método cualitativo a través de un estudio exploratorio mediante pruebas experimentales con dos grupos de estudiantes.
