Abstract

La investigación tuvo como propósito hacer un análisis cuantitativo de la trayectoria escolar de una cohorte generacional correspondiente a los calendarios de ingreso 2018A, 2018B y 2019A, de la Licenciatura en Educación del Centro Universitario de los Valles de la Universidad de Guadalajara, México. La selección obedeció a que son las últimas tres generaciones de este programa educativo que se formaron con un plan de estudio orientado a la gestión y administración educativa. El plan de estudios de la licenciatura cambió en el ciclo escolar 2019B a una orientación de formación para la docencia de educación básica, por lo que este análisis podría brindar una visión de los indicadores cuantitativos de dicho plan. El análisis se realizó tomando en cuenta que, para su egreso, el tránsito generacional es de ocho semestres, por lo que se finaliza en los semestres 2021B, 2022A y 2022B, respectivamente. El método consideró los siguientes indicadores: tasa de reprobación, promoción, deserción acumulada, eficiencia de egreso, promedio de alumnos registrados y alumnos promovidos. Los resultados muestran que la trayectoria escolar se ve afectada por eventos como la reprobación de materias, lo que la hace irregular. Los índices de deserción negativos a menudo resultan de repetir materias.
