Políticas de ação afirmativa para a população negra na América Latina: visibilidade às comunidades negras rurais

Abstract

Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar as políticas de ação afirmativa para a população negra da América Latina (Brasil, Colômbia, Panamá, Paraguai e Equador), destacando as comunidades negras rurais. A metodologia é marcada pela revisão das literaturas mais pertinentes sobre o território, comunidades remanescentes de quilombo e políticas de ação afirmativa que ajudaram a fundamentar a luta pela visibilidade destas comunidades tradicionais da América Latina, desta maneira, apresenta-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica. Nesta intenção, propõe-se, também, caracterizar o cenário latino americano construído após a diáspora dos africanos para cá escravizados, bem como a marginalização que este indivíduo sofrera no período pós-abolicionista corroborando para aumentar as desigualdades e o preconceitos que são impingidos contra este membro formador da identidade dos povos latino-americanos e caribenhos.
