Anquiloglossia e frenotomia lingual em neonatos: revisão de escopo

Abstract

O objetivo desta revisão foi identificar e mapear os métodos de avaliação da anquiloglossia em neonatos submetidos a frenotomia lingual, nos últimos cinco anos. Critério de inclusão: Pacientes neonatos a termo com anquiloglossia que foram submetidos a frenotomia devido a dificuldades no aleitamento materno. Foram consultados nas bases LILACS, PubMed, Embase e Web of Science artigos disponíveis eletronicamente em português ou inglês, com limite temporal de abril de 2017 a abril de 2022. As etapas de seleção seguiram a metodologia de revisão de escopo proposta por Joanna Briggs Institute, em seis etapas consecutivas: formulação e identificação da questão e o objetivo de pesquisa; identificação dos estudos potencialmente relevantes; seleção dos estudos elegíveis, conforme os critérios predefinidos; extração e codificação dos dados, realizando o mapeamento; compilação, resumo, interpretação dos resultados, por meio de uma análise temática qualitativa em relação ao objetivo e pergunta; relato dos resultados, identificando as implicações para prática ou pesquisa. Foram encontrados 234 artigos e nove foram incluídos no estudo. Um relato de caso, três estudos observacionais transversais e cinco estudos observacionais do tipo coorte. Identifico-se cinco métodos de avaliação do FL anatômicos e funcionais: Kotlow, Coryllos, Halzebaker, Bristol e Avaliação do Frênulo Lingual para Lactentes.
