Abstract

Air dan tanah penting di bidang pertanian. Air dibutuhkan dalam fotosintesis, sedangkan tanah sebagai media tanam. Kualitas tanah dipengaruhi kondisi air dan tidak tercemar limbah. Teknologi LoRa memantau kualitas tanah jarak jauh. Parameter penting adalah kelembaban dan pH tanah. Sistem mikrokontroler dengan sensor pH dan kelembaban tanah memantau dan mengirimkan data melalui LoRa. Ada dua jenis sensor yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu sensor untuk mengukur kelembaban dan sensor mengukur pH yang dilakukan pada dua jenis tanah. Sensor kelembapan yang digunakan adalah YL-69 dengan nilai eror rata-rata sebesar 0,077%, dengan rentang eror terkecil adalah 0% dan eror terbesar sebesar 0,016%. Sementara itu, sensor pH electrode probe digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat keasaman dengan nilai eror rata-rata sebesar 0,0288%, dan rentang eror terkecil adalah 0,034% dan eror terbesar adalah 0,021%. Hasil pemantauan dikirimkan melalui jaringan LoRa yang terhubung dengan ESP32. Pengujian dilakukan pada dua kondisi yaitu LOS dengan jarak terjauh 500 meter dan NLOS dengan jarak terjauh 50 meter. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, gateway dapat mendeteksi nilai RSSI yang berubah dari -104 dBm hingga -64 dBm, dan nilai SNR yang berada pada rentang -2 dB sampai +10 dB. Nilai delay rata-rata saat pengiriman data antara node dan gateway adalah 2,118 detik.
