Analisis Fluktuasi Total Electron Content (TEC) Akibat Gempa Palu dengan Formosat-3 / COSMIC

Abstract

Gempa bumi merupakan getaran yang terjadi akibat dari adanya pergeseran lempeng. Gempa bumi yang terjadi akan menimbulkan 3 macam gelombang dan salah satunya adalah gelombang akustik yang bergerak secara vertikal dan mempengaruhi electron yang bergerak bebas di lapisan ionosfer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fluktuasi Total Electron Content (TEC) akibat gempa dengan menggunakan data FORMOSAT-3 / COSMIC. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis waktu serta lokasi terjadinya fluktuasi TEC dari hasil plotting data FORMOSAT-3 / COSMIC terhadap waktu dan lokasi terjadinya gempa. Data yang digunakan adalah data netCDF yang berisi informasi nilai TEC dan waktu okultasi yang pada FORMOSAT-3 / COSMIC data tersebut diambil dengan menggunakan Teknik Global Postioning System Radio Occultation (GPSRO). Hasil dari Pada Gempa Palu 28 September 2018 diperoleh 28 okultasi dengan waktu anomali 10 menit setelah gempa dan jarak dengan episenter adalah ± 3700 km.
