Relación entre las TIC y el empoderamiento de mujeres artesanas en el sector textil de Puno, Perú

Abstract

El presente estudio analiza la relación entre el uso de Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación (TIC) y el empoderamiento de mujeres artesanas de la Asociación Unificada de Artesanos del Puerto Muelle de Puno. El objetivo principal fue determinar cómo el uso de TIC impacta dimensiones del empoderamiento como autoestima, liderazgo, toma de decisiones y participación. Se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel correlacional y diseño no experimental transversal, con una muestra estratificada de 60 mujeres artesanas. Los datos se recolectaron mediante cuestionarios con escala Likert y se analizaron utilizando el coeficiente de correlación Rho de Spearman. Los resultados mostraron que el 65% de las participantes tenía un nivel intermedio de uso de TIC, asociado significativamente con niveles regulares de empoderamiento (58%). La dimensión liderazgo presentó la correlación más alta con el uso de TIC (Rho = 0.586, p < 0.05), seguida de autoestima (Rho = 0.556, p < 0.05). En conclusión, un mayor uso de TIC está positivamente relacionado con el empoderamiento femenino, destacando la necesidad de implementar políticas públicas y programas de capacitación en tecnologías digitales para reducir las brechas de género y fomentar la igualdad de oportunidades.
