Analisis Pengendalian Bahan Baku Dengan Pendekatan Metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengendalian persediaan bahan baku di PT ABC melalui pendekatan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dan peramalan Single Exponential Smoothing (SES). Masalah utama dalam pengelolaan persediaan adalah ketidaktepatan dalam perencanaan pemesanan yang menyebabkan kekosongan stok dan tingginya biaya penyimpanan. Berdasarkan data permintaan historis tahun 2024, metode SES digunakan untuk meramalkan kebutuhan bahan baku tahun 2025 sebesar 490.276,64 kg. Hasil peramalan ini kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan EOQ untuk menentukan jumlah pemesanan optimal. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa jumlah pemesanan ekonomis adalah sebesar 13.684,57 kg per pesanan, dengan frekuensi 38 kali pemesanan per tahun dan interval setiap 8 hari. Safety stock ditentukan sebesar 1.408,08 kg dan reorder point pada 8.217,5 kg. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan metode EOQ yang dikombinasikan dengan SES mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengendalian persediaan dan menekan risiko kekurangan atau kelebihan stok. Penelitian ini berkontribusi secara praktis dalam memberikan solusi perencanaan pengadaan bahan baku yang terstruktur, serta secara teoretis menegaskan relevansi integrasi metode EOQ dan SES dalam manajemen persediaan.
