
Uno de los argumentos que se suele utilizar para defender las fronteras abiertas parte de la siguiente afirmación: los recursos mundiales son propiedad común. Las políticas migratorias restrictivas violan el derecho de los copropietarios de acceder a los recursos del mundo. El presente artículo analiza este argumento. Si bien se cuestiona la postura de la propiedad común del mundo en sus diferentes versiones, se abordarán las que proponen Hillel Steiner y Mathias Risse. Ambos autores utilizan el argumento en el tema de la migración.
