Abstract

Pretendemos evaluar prospectivamente la posibilidad de prevenir eventos cardiovasculares en pacientes ya diagnosticados de hipertensión y en otros sin el diagnóstico de hipertensión mediante el uso de dispositivos llevables que tengan un coste reducido, combinados con la aplicación de técnicas de inteligencia artificial (IA). Estudio prospectivo de cohortes multicéntrico de pacientes que acuden a la consulta de Atención Primaria (AP) en nuestro departamento de salud. Se emplearán dispositivos llevables de muñeca y tórax que se colocarán durante 48 horas a aquellos pacientes que, una vez informados, acepten participar en el estudio. Los datos recogidos por los sensores serán enviados por bluetooth al teléfono móvil del paciente. Este, a intervalos programados, vuelca dichos datos a un servidor en la nube para que se puedan analizar. La duración del registro será de 48 horas. Dichos datos anonimizados serán analizados en el Departamento de Ingeniería Electrónica de la Universidad de Valencia mediante IA y big data. Buscamos poder detectar una variación sustancial de ciertas variables fisiológicas de un paciente que puedan utilizarse en el futuro como elemento de alerta al paciente y a su médico de AP. Queremos desarrollar nuevos paradigmas de IA para un seguimiento personalizado de la salud, así como una plataforma de alertas en AP que pueda ser usada en entornos clínicos como herramienta de monitorización de la salud, ayuda a decisiones terapéuticas, control de adherencia al tratamiento, mecanismo de control y seguimiento médico de pacientes, pudiendo adelantar una cita médica cuando se detecte riesgo de eventos cardiovasculares.
