Abstract

RESUMO - O ombro doloroso tem etiologia multifatorial, e suas causas são traumas, instabilidades ou lesões degenerativas. Podem ser classificadas como intra-articulares, extra-articulares ou à distância. O objetivo deste estudo foi descrever a anatomia do ombro nas principais doenças, baseado em revisão bibliográfica da literatura recente e de livros-texto de anatomia. Em conclusão, o conhecimento da anatomia é fundamental para compreensão das várias doenças que afetam o ombro doloroso para seu correto diagnóstico e tratamento.
