Abstract

La marca de ropa Benetton ha conseguido uno de sus objetivos, que se hable de ella. Por medio de una agresiva -pero constante- campaña publi­ citaria que se reconoce más que la misma marca, se tiene constancia de su nombre y en muchos de nosotros se activa un recuerdo, una disposición de ánimo cada vez que aparece un nuevo anuncio. Puede hablarse de campaña porque se ha desarrollado de una forma coherente y continuada; porque sus mensajes desvelan unos propósitos comunes. Campaña que se ha servido del dolor, el escándalo o la transgresión de determinadas parcelas de intimi­ dad, con la única condición de que estos referentes estuviesen estrechamen­ te ligados a acontecimientos de actualidad.
