En aquest article analitzarem el paper que tingué l'ensenyament de la geografia en l'educació de la dona a Espanya en el segle passat i començament de l'actual. Per això considerarem el sistema d'instrucció primària en tots els seus nivells: l'ensenyament elemental de les nenes, els estudis de mestra i la preparació de les professores de les Escoles Normals.
