Globalización y literatura mundial. Las teorías de Franco Moretti y Pascale Casanova desde la ladera de las literaturas latinoamericanas.

Abstract

El término de "literatura universal" fue propuesto por Goethe. Alfonso Reyes habla de la universalidad de algunos autores latinoamericanos, como Octavio Paz, Jorge Luis Borges y Gabriel García Márquez, por sus temas universales y la globalización de sus obras. Tanto Franco Moretti como Pascale Casanova estudian y proponen la universalidad de las letras y la literatura a pesar de que muchos otros estudiosos tienen visiones distintas y no consideran este aspecto global de la literatura. Por ejemplo, Sánchez-Prado critica a ambos en algunos aspectos y, tras él, otros estudiosos han hecho lo mismo, comentando las tesis de esos dos autores para ponerlas en perspectiva. En las críticas se tienen cuenta el contexto de cada escritor para poder reflexionar más allá si realmente existe una literatura universal y de qué se trata.
