Abstract

Para que un análisis resulte eficaz es imprescindible que el paciente establezca con su psicoanalista, además de los fenómenos de transferencia que consideraremos en. otro artículo, una relación relativamente consciente y racional: la que E.R. Zetzel denominó “alianza terapéutica, R.R. Greenson “alianza de trabajo”, L. Stone “'transferencia madura” y O. Fenichel “transferencia racional”. Tal alianza terapéutica empezó a ser considerada esencial por la citada E.R. Zetzel y poco después por L. Stone, que la separaron con relativa precisión de la transferencia. S. Freud no utilizó nunca una expresión similar, pero hizo una clara referencia a la alianza terapéutica al considerar la “transferencia positiva”; afirmó que los fenómenos de transferencia no debian analizarse “antes de haber establecido en el paciente una transferencia aprovechable, un rapport en toda regla con nosotros. El primer fin del tratamiento es siempre ligar al paciente a la cura y a la persona del médico. Para ello no hay que dejarle tiempo”.
