On the infrageneric classification of Pinguicula
In this article, the morphology-based “traditional” infrageneric classification of the genus Pinguicula is opposed to “modern”, phylogeny-based concepts. But concepts are compared and illustrated, and a new infrageneric concept of four sections for the Central American evolutionary linage of Pinguicula is proposed.
