Impacto del entrenamiento deportivo en la salud cardiovascular

Abstract

Introducción: El entrenamiento físico regular es crucial para mejorar la salud cardiovascular y reducir el riesgo de enfermedades cardiovasculares (ECV), una de las principales causas de mortalidad global. Este estudio revisa el impacto del ejercicio aeróbico, de resistencia y de alta intensidad en indicadores clave de salud cardiovascular. Objetivos: Analizar los efectos del entrenamiento deportivo regular en la salud cardiovascular, evaluar diferentes tipos de entrenamiento físico y examinar barreras y facilitadores para adoptar un estilo de vida activo. Métodos: Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica sistemática de estudios relevantes publicados en bases de datos científicas. Resultados: El ejercicio aeróbico mostró mejoras significativas en el VO2 máx. y reducciones moderadas en la presión arterial, con mejoras en el perfil lipídico. El entrenamiento de resistencia demostró incrementos en la fuerza muscular, con resultados variables en la presión arterial. Conclusiones: Diferentes modalidades de entrenamiento físico ofrecen beneficios específicos para la salud cardiovascular. La combinación de ejercicios aeróbicos, de resistencia y HIIT puede mejorar la capacidad aeróbica y controlar la presión arterial. Es crucial individualizar los programas de entrenamiento para optimizar el perfil lipídico y promover un estilo de vida activo, mitigando así las enfermedades cardiovasculares a nivel global.
