Pseudoaneurisma traumático arteria aorta torácica

Abstract

El traumatismo de aorta torácica es una lesión frecuente en pacientes con trauma cerrado de tórax y politrauma en general, su asociación con lesiones en otros territorios le añade una importante morbimortalidad. En aquellos pacientes en los que se sospecha esta lesión debe realizarse una tomografía axial multicorte, con contraste endovenoso. El correcto manejo y tratamiento de la misma constituye una urgencia. El tratamiento endovascular se considera una opción válida en estos casos. Algunas lesiones pueden ser susceptibles de tratamiento médico-conservador.
