The Impossibilities of Anarchism

Authors: Bernard Shaw;

The Impossibilities of Anarchism

Abstract

George Bernard Shaw'ın 1895 tarihli denemesi “The Impossibilities of Anarchism” (Anarşizmin İmkansızlıkları), ünlü yazarın Fabian Sosyalizmi perspektifinden anarşizmin teorik ve pratik imkansızlıklarına dair keskin bir eleştirisini sunar. Kitap, toplumun karmaşık yapısı ve kaçınılmaz otorite ihtiyacı karşısında, bireyci anarşizm ve devlet dışı komünizm gibi akımların ütopik doğasını derinlemesine sorgular. Shaw, mülkiyetin, hukukun ve kamusal hizmetlerin örgütlenmesinin devletsiz bir yapıda nasıl imkansız hale geleceğini rasyonel argümanlarla ortaya koyarken, işçi sınıfının yaşadığı ekonomik sömürünün istatistiklerle nasıl çarpıtılabileceğine dikkat çeker; bu deneme, modern siyasi düşünce tarihinde sosyalizmin anarşizm karşısındaki pozisyonunu netleştiren temel metinlerden biri olarak kabul edilir.
