Etude tridimensionnelle de la convection mixte dans une conduite cylindrique horizontale

Abstract

Dans ce travail, nous présentons une étude numérique de la convection mixte d’un écoulement d’eau en régime laminaire, développée dans un cylindre chauffé par un flux de chaleur constant et uniforme. Une brève revue des travaux récents sur les écoulements et le transfert de chaleur en convection mixte est exposée. Une description du problème est présentée à travers les équations de conservation (masse, quantité de mouvement et énergie). Les caractéristiques dynamiques et thermiques des grandeurs physiques de cet écoulement sont déterminées numériquement en utilisant le code CFD ANSYS 17.0. Dans le cas stationnaire, les simulations ont été effectuées par la méthode des volumes finis en utilisant l’approximation de Boussinesq. Les résultats obtenus ont confirmé que les forces de gravité génèrent deux rouleaux thermo-convectifs le long de la conduite. Ainsi, l’augmentation du nombre de Grashof indique une augmentation des champs dynamique et thermique. Par contre, l’augmentation du nombre de Reynolds induit une diminution de la température.
