Abstract

L’inertie thermique des bâtiments, sujet de notre propos, est derrière l’intelligente relation qui repose sur la bonne compréhension des échanges thermiques entre le dedans et le dehors. Elle participe au bon rendement, à la bonne utilisation et au confort de la machine thermique (bâtiment). Une investigation a été menée sur une maison de l’époque coloniale à Guelma afin d’estimer le rôle de l’inertie sur le confort hygrothermique. En comparaison, une villa contemporaine a été choisie pour évaluer l’impact de l’inertie thermique sur la consommation énergétique des bâtiments. Les résultats montrent que l’utilisation d’un matériau local adapté au climat de la région est à l’origine de la réalisation du confort hygrothermique et la consommation réduite de l’énergie. La validation des résultats de l’investigation par le logiciel TRNSYS.V14 réaffirme le rôle prépondérant de l’inertie thermique dans le maintien de l’équilibre hygrothermique intérieur. Bien que l’inertie des matériaux, selon les résultats, doit être associée aux moyens de chauffage (d’appoint) et de refroidissement naturelle (ventilation nocturne) dans les situations les plus défavorables.
