Art is a marginalized subject in Slovenian schools, so theatre professionals (dramaturgs, directors, actors, etc.) try to find alternative options for the art education of young people and teachers. This study explores the power and influence of dramaturgical methods to challenge the conformity in dramatic literature education. Using different methods from professional dramaturgical practice, we analyze three workshops of creative teaching of literature within the framework of the Slovenian National Theater Institute and discuss the impact of selected methods, results, and the possibilities for the development of additional methods for teaching teachers.
