Abstract

El acoso, el hostigamiento sexual y la discriminación son acciones que habitualmente se practican en el ámbito educativo, se normalizan y no se percibe su verdadera dimensión, principalmente en los estudiantes cuya posición jerárquica ofrece desventajas ante docentes y autoridades. El objetivo de este estudio consiste en determinar la percepción de los estudiantes respecto de la seguridad que ofrece el contexto universitario o cómo están expuestos a situaciones de acoso, hostigamiento sexual y discriminación en su práctica educativa. Para ello se aplicó una encuesta tomando como muestra a alumnos de la Facultad de Humanidades de la Universidad Autónoma de Campeche. Los resultados arrojaron que muchos no tienen una definición clara del acoso, hostigamiento sexual y/o discriminación y lo normalizan; perciben el entorno universitario con niveles de baja seguridad y alta exposición a vivir tales situaciones.
