Abstract

<p>En esta publicaci&oacute;n, Isabel de la Torre Prados realiza un an&aacute;lisis comparativo de datos obtenidos en distintas investigaciones para avanzar en conclusiones de inter&eacute;s, tanto sobre la apreciaci&oacute;n y la imagen p&uacute;blica del Tercer Sector como sobre la capacidad de participaci&oacute;n ciudadana expresada en el sentimiento asociativo l&uacute;dico, en el inter&eacute;s por los asuntos p&uacute;blicos y en el compromiso con los valores solidarios. El tercer sector, o sector no lucrativo, es el que est&aacute; formado por el amplio mundo de entidades con funciones sociales sin &aacute;nimo de lucro (partidos pol&iacute;ticos, asociaciones profesionales o vecinales, ONG). En esta obra su autora, Isabel de la Torre Prados, profesora titular de sociolog&iacute;a de la Universidad Aut&oacute;noma de Madrid, describe la imagen p&uacute;blica que percibe la poblaci&oacute;n espa&ntilde;ola sobre este sector y las modalidades de vinculaci&oacute;n personal a sus distintas entidades, as&iacute; como los comportamientos y las actitudes hacia la acci&oacute;n voluntaria.</p>
