Abstract

<p>El presente trabajo ofrece una aproximaci&oacute;n al estudio de la calidad de vida en Espa&ntilde;a. Utilizando como principal fuente la informaci&oacute;n disponible en el Banco de Datos del CIS, los autores recogen y clasifican diversos indicadores, &uacute;tiles para analizar un tema tan relevante como amplio: la calidad de vida entendida como un fen&oacute;meno complejo, compuesto por distintas dimensiones del bienestar. As&iacute;, este trabajo facilita una selecci&oacute;n sistem&aacute;tica de indicadores del CIS sobre diversas &aacute;reas del concepto (la calidad de vida en relaci&oacute;n con la renta, el trabajo, la educaci&oacute;n, la salud, las relaciones interpersonales, el tiempo libre, la vivienda, el entorno f&iacute;sico-social y la seguridad). De igual forma, el estudio proporciona un an&aacute;lisis general sobre las distintas dimensiones de la calidad de vida en Espa&ntilde;a en el cambio de siglo, estudiando los datos del Banco de Datos del CIS en funci&oacute;n de algunas variables sociodemogr&aacute;ficas que permiten retratar la situaci&oacute;n de bienestar en la sociedad espa&ntilde;ola actual.</p>
