Abstract

<p>Los autores estudian la naturaleza y el desarrollo de una pol&iacute;tica competitiva en Espa&ntilde;a. Prestan especial atenci&oacute;n a las diferencias de clase, religiosas, regionales e ideol&oacute;gica, examinando la interacci&oacute;n entre las estrategias adoptadas por las nuevas &eacute;lites con vistas a las elecciones y a la construcci&oacute;n de partidos, por una parte, y el comportamiento de las masas populares, por otra.</p>
